Donate to SOS Rhino: How you can help!

We've estimated the costs of protecting these animals at $250,000 per year. In addition to food, costs such as reinforcing fences and providing vehicles for the RPUs (Rhino Protection Units that patrol for poachers) can add up quickly. Below are some programs in need of funding and how you can help.

Online donations are handled using Paypal© secure online payment service or you can send checks or money orders via snail mail. Send check to SOS RHINO 680 N. Lake Shore Drive Suite 807, Chicago, IL 60611.

Adopt a Rhino

By adopting any one of the 300 rhinos still in existence, you're buying them time and hope for a future.

Protect a Rhino

Rhino Protection Units are the only way to protect our Sumatrans from poachers. Rhinos can recover. This was proven by the recovery of the South African White Rhinoceros from twenty to several thousand. Let's give the Sumatrans the same chance by supporting these brave men and women.
Help to purchase boots for our rangers who go in and out of wet rainforests.

Contribute toward our goal of $18,000 for a new vehicle or contribute for new tires (estimated value $500 each).

Contribute for the *Rhino Chute (estimated value $2,500).
*This creates a safe place for doctors to examine rhinos.

To ensure our rhinos stay safe, fencing is critical. Please consider a donation to the fence protecting all of the Sepilok animals.

Adopt a Researcher

Researchers Annelisa Kilbourn and Muhammad Agil are practically racing against the clock to learn more about Lun and her friends before they become extinct. Your contribution toward their work makes an enormous difference.

Adopt a Doc

Drs. Nathan Senthival and Nan Schaffer are dedicating their lives--often at great personal sacrifice--to the SOS Rhino Project. With you supporting their efforts, they will achieve their research goals faster and get these precious beasts off the endangered species list!

Adopt a Keeper

The rhino keepers at Sepilok are the critical staff ensuring the rhinos' day-to-day needs are met. Please help us show them their priceless value by contributing to their support.
